About

From the field to the screen

Sami Nabhan

I’m Sami Nabhan, a software developer. I started in 2019 at SpeedClick, an internet provider, and spent four years there: on the support line, and in the field with the installation crews, setting up wireless links and fiber. That work still shapes how I build: the people using a system are in a hurry, the connection drops, and the numbers have to be right.

I studied software development at the Islamic University, and since then I have built systems that organisations and businesses use every day: maps for a national survey programme, staff and salary systems for field teams, an Arabic accounting and ERP system, and money management across several currencies.

Most of them work in Arabic and English, and most hold private data — which is why the stories here describe the work rather than show it. What clients get is the same each time: a system that fits how they already work, numbers they can trust, and someone who answers when they call.
